The Army says of the 16 soldiers killed in a helicopter crash Sunday in Iraq, one was an Ohio soldier. The Army has identified the victim as Sergeant Steven Conover of Wilmington. His family said the 21-year-old had been on his way home to Ohio for a two-week leave when the CH-47 Chinook copter was shot down. Conover had been in Iraq for eight months and was a specialist in field artillery, operating a howitzer. He had been based in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and joined the Army three years ago.
