With the elections behind us, we should be seeing fewer political signs around town. City officials said candidates and supporting citizens have ten days after the elections to remove any political signs. That translates into Friday November 14th as they deadline to take them down. After the deadline, if signs are still problematic, City Zoning Administrator Bryan Mason will send a letter to the offender. After that, they have seven days to remove the signs before he passes the problem on to the law director. Mason does not expect there to be a problem, as many signs around town have already been taken down. His biggest concerns are along Maple Avenue.
