The face of Zanesville politics will stay the same…at least as far as the Mayor’s office. Incumbent Jack Fenton was reelected Tuesday by almost 12-hundred votes. Fenton beat republican challenger Dave Joseph and independent candidate Rick Lavy, who came in third place. Fenton says he’s happy with his victory and the support he received and looks forward to his third term. In other city races, there’s a new face on Zanesville City Council, democrat Jeff Tilton was elected to one of three council at-large seats. The other two were incumbents Dan Vincent and Ted Zakany. The other winners for council seats were Mark Baker in the 1st ward, Diane Wisecarver in the second ward and Connie Norman in the third ward.
