Everyone is back home safe and sound hopefully, after the busiest and heaviest travel weekend of the year. The State Highway Patrol says this past weekend the roadways were crammed with travelers, many of them, speeding. In Muskingum County over 100 arrests were made for traffic violations. Now if you still have a long drive ahead of you, troopers warn motorists to allow some extra time to get to their destination. Sergeant Clark Felix of the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says it is best to leave early, simply because of backed up traffic. Troopers also say they issued about a dozen D-U-I's in Muskingum County over the weekend.
