Keeping Cancer Patient's Memory Alive
The 8th Annual Becky Ziegler Memorial Jam is helping local cancer patients.

Event coordinator, Tami Swope says Ziegler was a member of her brother's band. She says Ziegler developed colon cancer and ended up losing her battle.

"We want people to know that it's been 8 years, and we're still very passionate about keeping Becky's memory alive, just to let people know that we're here, we care about them as patients, we care about their families, and we want to help them, " says Swope.

The Becky Ziegler Memorial Jam was held in a new location this The Barn on Linden Avenue.

"They were gracious enough to have their suppliers donate the food today. They're donating the food and their tips to breast cancer research for the cancer patients in Muskingum County, " says Swope.

Swope says some of the attendees were cancer survivors. Swope says this event also holds significance with her because she lost her father to cancer as well.
