There are a few changes to the Zanesville South Business Association Annual Christmas Parade.

This year there will be a fee of $50 for all commercial entries, but non profit groups do not need to worry about the fee.

"If you are a not for profit, girl or boy scout troop, church group, all those groups, there is no fee involved. We encourage them to get involved, in fact I find they have some of the most creative ideas," says Mollie Crooks the parade organizer.

Groups will also be lining up in a new location.

"That way we can organize everyone, give them a better time. We'll be lining up in the SouthPointe Shopping Center and then filing out down clay street. We want to let people know who are going to se up along the way. They need to be south of Clay Street in order to see the parade," tells Crooks.

The parade will take place the Sunday before Thanksgiving. The theme this year is 'All Around the World Christmas' and Officer Mike Schiele and Bosco will be the grand marshalls. Pre-registration forms can be picked up at businesses around south Zanesville. They are due November 7th.

The parade will also be shown on WHIZ-TV Thursday November 26th at 4:00 pm.
