Hundreds of local children are out trick or treating tonight and Saturday so drivers need to be on the lookout.
Children are more likely to get hit by a car during Halloween than any other time of the year. It is suggested to give children flash lights so the light will get a driver's attention. Fire officials say light reflectors on costumes are also helpful in keeping chidlren safe.
In addition, parents need to stay close to their children and make sure they stay out of the street.
