This election season Muskingum County voters prove that the library system is important to them.

Voters passed the library levy by 62 percent.

"We we are extremely gratified, it is wonderful to see the community support," said Public Relations Director the Muskingum County Library System Blair Tom. "In our conversations with communities we kept hearing libraries really matter and certainly the vote supports that and confirms that in Muskingum County people really care about public libraries."

Tom say library officials will meet Wednesday  to lay down their official plans of what they will do with the money.
