Local bars were filled to the brim Saturday afternoon with devoted fans.
At The Barn on Linden Avenue, it was a sea of scarlet and gray jerseys and cheering fans like Rick Huffine.
"I have been a Buckeye fan my whole life, back to when I was a young child when we watched Woody Hayes," says Huffine.
Even over at Buffalo Wild Wings on Maple Avenue there were scarlet and gray jerseys as far as the eye can see.
"It is nice to be in a crowd this size and having a bunch of Buckeyes in here celebrating all together," says Darryl Strouse.
Strouse says he was raised as an OSU fan and is already teaching his grand-daughter all about being a Buckeye. But in the masses of Buckeye fans only two Michigan fans could be found supporting their team.
"I think they are scared, they knew they were going to get beat today so they stayed home," says Buckeye fan, Jim Snelling.
Buckeye fans can rejoice for another year. OSU beat Michigan 21 to 10.
