Area residents will have another way to get information about inclement weather.
The Southeast Ohio 211 Information Line will expand to answer questions relating to bad weather.
"We've been hearing already the levels and the warnings for snow such," said Audrey Foster of the 211 service. "We'll be aware of that and be another resource in the community, so folks if they have questions, about that or school closings, we'll have that information on 211."
Foster says the information line is very simple to use.
"Just dialing those three numbers 211 and you will be connected to a live person an information and referral specialist who will know those things about the communities not just in Muskingum County, but Perry and Morgan counties as well."
Foster says she expects with the winter weather, calls will increase.
211 is a free 24-hour service which can help with questions related to human services, community service agencies, crisis hotlines, food pantries and more.
