Four people are treated at the hospital after an afternoon accident.

It happened around 4:45 p.m. on State Route 216 near New Straitsville.

Trooper David Lee from the Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol says Stacey Fulton was traveling south and going around a curve too quickly when she struck a car, driven by Richard Lemaster, who was traveling north.

Lee says Fulton was transported to Hocking Valley Hospital and later taken to Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Her passenger was not injured in the crash.

A juvenile in Lemaster's car was also transported to Hocking Valley Hospital with minor injuries. Lee says doctors were checking out Lemaster and his wife as well when they arrived at the hospital.

Lee says both cars were totaled and Fulton will be cited for the incident.
