Firefighters from three departments were called to a fire Friday afternoon in Mount Perry.

The fire broke out around 3:30 at 1701 Mount Perry Road.

"When the first crew arrived they just saw a lot of smoke coming out of the house and the chimney. When we got an entry team in there we found a fire in the basement," said Steve Dupler, Assistant Chief National Trails Fire Department.

National Trails, Falls Township and Glenford Fire Departments worked to battle the blaze through the snowy conditions.

"Anytime you've got this much snow it makes it a little more difficult, but we managed. The guys worked hard together and that's what, trainings paid off," said Dupler.

They fire is still under investigation, but at this time authorities believe it's accidental.
