John and Annie Glenn are celebrating their love for each other.
The two have been married for 67 years. Both say they have been by each other's sides for a majority of that time, except when John served our country oversees. Annie says communication with troops oversees is completely different now than it was back then.
"His letters, I still have his letters. He would write every day. They were long and coming as were mine back to him, " says Annie.
What makes a marriage last? John and Annie say they wish they had that answer.
"We enjoy each other. We're very honest with each other," says Annie.
"In some ways, the time apart benefitted us because it meant you valued more of the times you spent together, " says John.
The Board of Trustees of the John and Annie Glenn Museum Foundation wanted to honor the two tonight with a banquet, calling the event "The Celebration of a Life Together."
