The warm weather is a huge draw for summer water activities.

That's why the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will be offering 70 boating safety inspections across the state through June. Several of those inspections will take place at water sites in Salt Fork State Park, Dillion State Park, and Seneca Lake during the weekend of May 22nd and 23rd.

Inspectors look at the condition of safety equipment on the boats and make sure they are readily accessible in case of an emergency. All inspections are free of cost.
