Women are a top priority this week. President Barack Obama has declared it National Women's Health Week.

Licking County Health Commissioner, Joe Ebel, says women often forget about their own health because they are too busy tending to their families, but he says it's important for them to take care of themselves.

So, the health department is offering some guidelines including: eating a balanced diet, getting at least a half hour of physical activity a day, checking your vision, getting enough sleep, having some alone time to de-stress, getting regular health screenings, and not engaging in excessive behaviors, like smoking and drinking.
