More than 50 people are receiving a special gift on this Memorial Day while helping save a life.

The Muskingum Valley Red Cross was offering a free ticket to King's Island for the first 56 people who signed up to give blood.

Volunteers say it's a great way to get people to come out on a day when blood donation levels are typically low.

The blood drive was held at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Military Road in Zanesville.
