A new fitness center in Dresden will benefit the community and the Tri-Valley School District.
The Tri-Valley Community Fitness Center offers a wide range of workout equipment along with basketball courts and an indoor track. For those who like classes, the Fitness Center has a lot to offer.
"We're also going to have fitness classes, zumba, pilates. We're going to have karate classes also a boot camp class. A variety of classes, hopefully we can hit everyone who's interested in those classes," says Jeremy Cameron, Fitness Center Director.
Memberships are available at a discounted rate to Tri-Valley District residents, but anyone can join. The center will also be used to provide more gym space to Tri-Valley sports teams.
"Mainly our middle school basketball teams will have the opportunity to use the facility to practice, rather than be home at 8:30 at night, they'll be able to be home at 5:30 so the facility should benefit the community and our students here at Tri-Valley," says Cameron.
The fitness center will officially open on June 21.
