Apart from the camels, elephants, and snow cones, a local organization is bringing a special group to Armco park.
The Muskingum County Community Foundation is celebrating their 25th anniversary. So to raise awareness about what the group does, they invited the Carson and Barnes Circus.
"Muskingum County Community Foundation is our host and they've brought us into town and they're raising money for their organization, so a lot of money will stay right here in the community," says Kristin Parra, Carson and Barnes Office Manager.
The foundation wanted the event to be family-oriented. Planning took about eight months, but all the hard work will benefit local teens.
"All the proceeds that we earn back from ticket sales will go directly to scholarship central which goes to fund scholarships for seniors entering college," says Ryan Moyer, Chairman of the Muskingum County Community Foundation.
If you missed out on the circus Saturday, there will be two- shows Sunday afternoon, at 1:30 and 4:30.
