Parish members are hard at work transforming a parking lot into the Saint Nicholas Festival.
Preparations have begun for the festival which is set to start next Wednesday, August 4th at 6pm. Throughout the festival, there will be a lot to do.
"Cake booth right there, we'll have games of chance, kid's games on this end. On the far end we're going to have our beer garden and entertainment, tents, and then variety of foods, pizzas, salads, iced tea and lemonade this year," says the Festival co-chair, Bill Kohler.
Kohler says that festival offers a little something for everyone.
"Something for the whole family to come out to, we'll have rides, Big O Amusements is going to be back here in the big grassy area. We'll have 10 to 12 rides this year," says Kohler.
The festival runs through Saturday. All proceeds benefit Bishop Fenwick Schools.
