A 24-year-old Zanesville man involved in Tuesday's high speed chase is charged.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol met with the Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office for a grand jury conference. Zanesville Post Commander, Lieutenant Steven Rine, says Harold Small Junior will face a felony count of failure to comply, one count of no motorcycle endorsement, and one count of driving under an FRA suspension. Prosecutor Mike Haddox says the charges carry a possible sentence of up to five years in prison. Small is expected to make his first appearance in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Friday.
He's currently being held in the Muskingum County Jail.
Small is accused of leading local law enforcement agencies on a 25-minute chase throughout the county, with speeds in excess of 100 mph, before crashing his bike on the West Pike in front of McDonalds.
