People were on their feet and moving to the music Saturday to benefit a worthy cause.
Instructors from the Genesis Lifestyle and Fitness Center held the second annual "Zumba at the Trail" at the Bethesda Hospital Shelter.
"We came out here today (Saturday) to raise money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and we're doing an hour and a half Zumba class," says Genesis Lifestyle and Fitness Center Program Coordinator, Beck Weir.
Weir says that by holding the event, it raises community awareness for the disease.
"Just kind of bring the community together and lets everybody know what's happening in today's society," says Weir.
Instructors say they have surpassed the amount they raised last year.
