29-year-old Cody Fisher appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Wednesday on charges stemming from a robbery at the Lighthouse Inn.

The Zanesville man pleaded not-guilty to six felony charges including attempted murder, kidnapping, attempted aggravated arson, aggravated robbery, theft and tampering with evidence.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says in the early morning hours of September 2nd Fisher entered the Lighthouse Inn on Old River Road and assaulted a female employee while robbing the establishment. Lutz says Fisher put the woman in a cooler and attempted to set the Lighthouse on fire with her inside. The woman received injuries and had to be treated at a Columbus Hospital.

Judge Kelly Cottrill continued Fisher's bond at 200-thousand dollars. He remains in the Muskingum County Jail.
