The State Highway Patrol along with crews from New Concord are on the scene of a semi accident Monday morning.
It happened just before 4a.m. Monday near the Sonora Road exit. Dispatchers said the car and semi were travelling in the westbound lanes of I-70 when the accident occurred.
The driver of the car was injured but able to get out of the vehicle before it caught fire. The semi came to rest in the eastbound lanes. The eastbound lanes of I-70 were closed east of Luv's Truck Stop, but have now been reopened.
We'll bring you more details as they become available.
