Three members were added to the Mid-East Career and Technology Center's Alumni Hall of Fame.
Tonight marks the eighth year for the Hall of Fame. Each of the three inductees agree that the school has been an instrumental piece in molding their futures.
"The nurses were very caring and compassionate here and I wanted to be that same caring, compassionate nurse and Mid-East instilled that in me from day one," says Shelly Cale, Hall of Fame inductee.
This year's three inductees agree that Mid-East plays a vital role in the community.
"This school is tremendous at giving opportunities to kids and even the less-fortunate kids who can't afford college to get something to help them get through life," says David Calendine, Hall of Fame inductee.
"Most of the nurses really have had some connection with Mid-East and it's really heartwarming to see how much influence they've had on the community," says Hall of Fame inductee, Marjorie Sigman.
The Mid-East Hall of Fame now has a total of 31 members.
