October's First Friday Artwalk

His work is what members are calling different from any others' at the gallery, and you can check it out for yourself this Friday, October 1.

First Friday Artwalk starts at 6 p.m. This month's featured artist is self-taught Greg Keagy.

"I find his work very fascinating. He does a very heavy application. An application that I've actually seen back in the 50's and earlier," says Gary Graham, Z.A.A.P. Gallery member.

Keagy has been painting for 10 years. His work along with other gallery members' pieces will be on display throughout October. Graham says it's something you're going to want to see.

"Very unique. I think that anyone that comes down Friday night will be surprised at his work at at the same time it's very pleasant work to see."

There will be refreshments and live music for all to enjoy at the gallery on 625 Main Street.
