A woman is dead after a one-vehicle accident in Fairfield County.
The Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the fatal crash, which occurred on Royalton Road in Amanda Township.
Troopers say at around 4:13 a.m. on Saturday, Curtis Dozier, 19, of Lancaster, was driving westbound on Royalton Road in a 1993 Honda Prelude when he drove off the left side of the roadway into a wooded area and overturned.
There were four passengers in the vehicle: Jeffery Holsinger, 17, of Lancaster, James Norris, 17, of Soutsville, Brittany Scott, 19, of Lancaster, and Samantha Thompson, 18, of Junction City.
Holsinger, Norris, and Scott were transported to Fairfield Medical Center by EMS, where they were treated for their injuries and released. Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fairfield County Coroner.
The crash remains under investigation at this time. Charges are pending the Fairfield County Presecutor review. Alcohol is a suspected factor in the crash.
