The Village of Dresden says some of its customers will lose water service next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Superintendent Russ Davis says service will be interrupted both days from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for a main line water valve installation. The purpose of the work is to be able to isolate smaller areas of the system in emergency situations.
The Tri-Valley School buildings and Trinway Water system should not be affected by this interruption. Once Service is restored a 24-hour boil alert will be in effect.
Davis says water to be used for consumption should be boiled vigorously for 10 minutes before using.
