Those who travel on Irish Ridge Road will need to take an alternate route starting next week.
The Muskingum County Engineer's Office says starting on Monday November 1st the roadway will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to repair road damage caused by the Rockies Express Pipeline.
The road will be closed between State Route 555 and Duncan Run Road until Friday November 5th.
Local traffic will be allowed through the work zone.
Engineer Doug Davis say negotiations continue between Muskingum County and the Rockies Express Pipeline.
However due to the condition of the road he says the Commissioners have designated funds to assist with the permanent repairs on Irish Ridge Road.
Crews will start repairing Virginia Ridge and Wilson Roads once Irish Ridge Road is completed.
