Art Club Halloween Fun

Making crafts should be no problem for the art club, and Saturday they shared their talents with young trick-or-treaters.

In an effort to raise funds, the West Muskingum High School Art Club organized a Halloween fun day for kids in the district.

"We've got face painting, and making cookies. We've got pin the nose on the witch, they can paint their pumpkin that they've brought, or make their own little ghost out of paper plates or things like that," says Paul Wilson, West Muskingum Art Club member.

Art club members and teachers put a lot of work into the event in a short amount of time. They even turned the stage into a spooky haunted house.

"It's been a great turnout and we put this together really quickly, three weeks, so from what we've done in three weeks it's a great turnout," say art teachers Kelsey Schrock and Heather Beauchamp.

Admittance was $3 for each child. The club is using the funds to visit the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
