There will be a new look at the Muskingum County Commissioners Office.  In Tuesday's election republican challenger James Porter beat incumbent democrat John Bates by almost 4000 votes.  The other big issue on the ballot involved the City of Zanesville Lodging Tax.  It would be used to build a community pool.  But voters said no to that issue.  It failed by around 1600 votes.  The rest of the issues passed on the Muskingum County ballot.  Three liquor options got the o-k of voters...Tlaquepaque will be able to sell beer and mixed beverages on Sunday as will Mac's Store in Dresden and Green's Tea Room.
