Temperatures may be in the 60's, but it's feeling a lot more like Christmas at the Muskingum County Courthouse.
Crews started putting up lights Monday and say it will take them about two weeks before all 40,000 bulbs are ready for the upcoming holiday season.
"It makes the courthouse look beautiful. The courthouse, like I said, is the focal point of the community, " says Muskingum County Facilities Superintendent, George Adams.
Adams says it's one of the first years his crew haven't had a problem with the weather.
"Rain and wind, you have everything blowing. You get water into the electrical connections before we can get them sealed. It's just a lot simpler this way, " says Adams.
The lights will officially come on during the annual Miracle on Main Street event, which takes place Wednesday, December 1st at 6:30 p.m.
