Thanksgiving is a time to spend time with family and friends and of course be thankful.
Many residents in Southeastern Ohio said that this year family is for what they are most thankful.
"Without my family. I wouldn't be anything," said Jenny Porter. "It's as simple as that."
"My daughter," added Kira Rose. "She'll be two in like two weeks, so my daughter."
And in this economy some said they are happy for what they have.
"I'm thankful for my life and my health and my family and everything," said Bill Wilkins. "The way this economy is there are a lot of people without jobs."
Everyone that we spoke with was looking forward to a large Thanksgiving meal with lots of food and family.
