One person is injured after a two-vehicle accident in Adamsville on Monday.
It happened around 6 p.m. on Ratcliffe Road.
Trooper Todd Henry of the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol said that Gerald Pierce driving a black Jeep Wrangler was traveling northbound on Ratcliffe and was struck by a black Jetta Volkswagen that was traveling southbound.
"The Jetta went over half the roadway struck the jeep sending it into the fence, the driver of the Jetta will be cited with failure to yield half the roadway," said Trooper Henry.
The passenger in the jeep was transported to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
