Budget complications for Muskingum County aren't over yet.
Muskingum County Commissioners met with Superintendent John Hill of Starlight Programs on Thursday to discuss a cost allocation study that was recently released.
"We're just reviewing some of that information with the departments that the study has been done for and decide if there are charges that should be charged for these various other enterprises," said Commissioner Brian Hill.
Currently, the county provides services offered by the commissioners, auditor, prosecutor and treasurer for free. Hill said by requiring charges, they could put money back into the general fund.
"The work has been done for years and years, the cost allocation study so the information is there, it's just do we actually bill these other departments for some of that," said Hill.
He said nothing is concrete and they are still in the process of determining what options will be most feasible for the county.
