A man called a "ring-leader" after a drug bust in Adams Mills is set to change his plea.
According to federal court documents Hugo Ayala of Columbus, is set to change his not-guilty plea, which may indicate he reached a plea agreement.
Last September multiple law enforcement agencies discovered more than 5,000 marijuana plants in two separate plots in Adams Mills.
Ayala and 10 other Mexican nationals were arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture marijuana. At a press conference following the arrest former Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray said the men were part of the Mexican drug cartel.
A notice filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Dayton says Ayala will change his plea April 14th.
