SR 821 Re-Opened After Gas Explosion in Noble County

 A gas plant explosion that shut down Ohio Route 821 between Caldwell and Belle Valley in Noble County has re-opened as of approximately 1:30 Saturday afternoon according to the Noble County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office said the explosion at the disposal plant owned by Carper Well Service, Inc. of Reno, happened around 9:30 Saturday morning. No word yet on the cause.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

At the scene were Cumberland, Caldwell, Summerfield, Belle Valley, and Pleasant City Fire Departments.
