The Easter Bunny made a special appearance in Zanesville on Saturday.
The Putnam Pride Committee hosted an Easter egg hunt at the Forever Dads facility in Zanesville. Volunteer Joyce Krouskoupf said Putnam area businesses wanted to do something special for the kids.
"Seeing the excitement of all the kids, they were so excited they got to get their candy and go and find the eggs and seeing the Easter bunny, they really liked that," she said.
She said they originally planned to do the hunt outside, but ended up doing it indoors due to the weather. She said despite the rain, everyone still enjoyed themselves.
"All the parents seemed to be excited about it too and they were excited about helping their kids and it was great because a lot of them said thank you and God bless you and they were really appreciative and that's what it's all about," said Krouskoupf.
Over 200 people attended the event.
