A group of young professionals from Korea took a field trip to Barnes Advertising Corporation in Zanesville this morning.
The Group Study Exchange is an international program for professionals. Daybreak Rotary Club of Zanesville Chairman, Jack Russett, says the exchange is a part of the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. During the exchange, a Rotarian is accompanied by a group of young people, usually in their twenties, who come and visit the United States for a four week period.
"We organize an outbound team to the same country. So this team came from Korea led by Young Sung Lee, and we will send a team by our leader from Columbus to his district in Korea," said Russett.
Russett says this learning experience benefits everyone involved by bringing diversity of multiple cultures together.
"This is within the structure of Rotary International efforts to build international peace, to build bridges between continents," said Russett.
Russett say the Exchange Program benefits residents of Zanesville as well by exposing locals to people from all over the world.
