A local health care center is helping to raise money for a woman who was severely injured in a car crash last month.
30 year old Erika Fleming is suffering from life threatening injuries after she was involved in a crash on Maple Avenue March 19th. Fleming worked at Autumn Health Care as a nurse, and now, her place of employment is giving back.
" We've just come together as a team here to help the family out, help the family get medical expenses, some money for gas and things to go back and forth to see her," said Andy Crooks, Autumn Health Care.
Autumn Health has already raised money for Erika as well as her 10 year old son and is planning to host a spaghetti dinner open to the public in order to collect more donations.
"We're doing the benefit, we've collected money, we've gotten donations from various vendors in the area just to help just raise money for the family," said Crooks.
The dinner will be held at Autumn Health Care off Autumn Drive April 29th. Tickets are five dollars and can be purchased at the facility. T-shirts will also be for sale along with a silent auction and a 50/50 drawing. An account has been set up at the Huntington Bank in South Zanesville to help with Erika's medical expenses.
