Children across southeast Ohio got a chance to get in the drivers seat of their favorite cars and trucks.
Operation Feed's Touch-A-Truck event took place at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds on Sunday afternoon. Chairperson Waynette Tackett said she thought this was a creative way for kids to have a little fun and also raise money for their organization.
"We have 16 food pantries and four hot meal programs in Muskingum County so that's what all the proceeds will go to," said Tackett.
She said with the high gas prices and struggling economy, more and more people are turning to their group for assistance.
"It's more about helping your neighbor, you just never know who is going to need help and it's just so nice to give and get back," said the Chairperson.
They plan to host this event again next year.
