The names of suspects charged in a Muskingum County drug bust have been released.
On Wednesday, authorities discovered a meth lab at 343 Linn Street in Zanesville. Misti Emmert, Josh Nelson, Elizabeth Barnett, Gregory Tompkins, and Tania Welch were arrested during the investigation.
"These cases they involve a lot of resources and we had some great cooperation. No one got hurt and luckily we were able to shut this thing down before anything serious happened," said Sheriff Matt Lutz.
A six-year-old child and a six-month-old infant were also found at the residence and were taken into the custody of Child Services.
"They put the children at risk, they put them in danger by having them in the house and the charges are going to reflect that," said the Sheriff.
Misti Emmert is facing 12 charges including illegal manufacture of drugs, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, and child endangering.
Josh Nelson, Elizabeth Barnett, and Tania Welch are facing charges of complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs with juvenile specification, and child endangering.
Gregory Tompkins of Zanesville is facing one count of possession of drugs. The cases will go before a Muskingum County Grand Jury next week.
