Newark Residents Arrested on Drug Related Charges

Authorities say they have arrested three Newark men in connection with purchasing a product that is a key ingredient used in the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine.

The Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force says 44-year-old Michael Holmes, 27-year-old Stephen Priest and 41-year-old Theodore Cost III have all been charged with the unlawful purchase of pseudoephedrine,a  first degree misdemeanor.
 

C.O.D.E. Task Force Agents also say they searched a residence on Pinewood Trails in Newark where they discovered several items needed in the manufacturing process of methamphetamine.
 

Agents also recovered finished product along with two loaded firearms.
 

Authorities arrested two residents of the home,.Aaron Wright and Brady Trout.

Both are facing multiple charges including possession of methamphetamine and the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine.
 

Additional charges are pending against other individuals who were at the home.
