The American Legion Car Show was held this weekend in Coshocton, but for one Warsaw man at the show, it was more than just the horse power.
Mike Ruby began collecting cars in the 80's, but soon discovered he wasn't very good at it.
"Couldn't get that shine, that everybody else gets," said Ruby. "And a friend of mine says, you ought to do something you like, something you know about. And I know about Military vehicles."
Ruby now brings an old Military jeep to the show each year, to educate and remind people of those who have served and those serving now. Which is what, American Legion Members, Dean Kittell and Gib Reiss said, the show is all about.
"We have Veterans coming back now from the wars overseas, their families need some help," said Reiss. "You're talking about, you know, we're a reserve Army now, and you pull a man out of the house and send him overseas for a year, there's bills. "
All proceeds from today's car show will go towards benefiting local Veterans in need.
