Man Admits to Motorcycle Chase

A 43-year-old Mount Perry man pled guilty Monday to leading authorities on a motorcycle chase.

According to the Zanesville Police Department, on June 5 officers attempted to pull Delmas Dingey over near the intersection of Underwood and Howard Streets. He refused to stop, leading police on a chase that reached speeds of up to 100 miles-per-hour.
Authorities day Dingey lost control near Bellview Drive and crashed the motorcycle, sending him to the hospital.

Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court he pled guilty to one count of failure-to-comply. Judge Mark Fleegle set his bond at $20,000.
