A Quaker City man is sentenced in connection with a 2010 crime spree that started in Muskingum County and ended in Pennsylvania.

27-year-old Michael Burkhart appeared Monday  before Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill where he was sentenced to 15 years in prison on charges of kidnapping, aggravated robbery and theft from an incident that happened at the Six County Crisis Hotline Center on Dillon Acres Road.

He was also sentenced to 3 years in prison on charges of felonious assault and tampering with evidence.

Those charges stem from a seperate incident where authorities say he stabbed another inmate while in the Muskingum County Jail awaiting trial.
