The Muskingum County Women, Infants, and Children Office will temporarily be closed while in the process of moving.

The WIC office located at 716 Adair Avenue will be closed next Wednesday through Friday. WIC will move to a new location at the Help Me Grow Building on 333 Putnam Avenue.

WIC Project Coordinator for Muskingum County Jody Shriver said, "It's just scary thinking your building is going to be demolished but it's also exciting knowing you're going to a new building just for you."

Shriver said the old location will eventually become a parking lot. WIC will reopen at the Putnam Avenue location on September 12th.

"It should be the exact same process," said Shriver. "They'll enter in the main doors see our friendly faces and then we'll take them through the exact same process they've always done."

Individuals are encouraged to still visit the Adair Avenue until the move is complete. You can call with any questions during the process.
