A fall tradition is helping people live better lives.
About 280 people attended the 19th annual "Lunch with the Aster's" benefit at the Zanesville Country Club on Friday. Co-chairwoman Geraldine Zylinsky said the event supports the Helen Purcell Home.
"It's a wonderful feeling that we're bringing mothers and daughters together - people who haven't seen each other for a year," said Zylinsky. "They just make this their special day to be together."
The benefit included an elegant lunch, silent auction and fashion show. Co-chairwoman Delsie Zahn said it's the perfect way to start the new season.
"It's fall, and they get to see the new fashions and meet friends," said Zahn.
