The Z.A.A.P Art Gallery in Downtown Zanesville will feature two local artists at this First Friday's Art Walk.
Multi Media Artist Teresa Caw includes many natural elements in her work. Her display of mainly stain glass, not only includes window pieces but wall hangings and pet memorials as well.
"She just doesn't do a square piece for a window, she'll do square, oblong, rectangular, oval, round," explained Z.A.A.P's Gary Graham. "She'll use not only stain glass but bevel glass or mix the two. What ever it takes to make the piece stand out, that's what she does."
Self-taught Blacksmith Scott Winsor transforms scrap of metal into pieces of art. His work is created as it originally would have been- over an open fire.
"I think the uniqueness I see is he actually does pieces that in our area people really go for," said Graham while pointing out a display, "The large sunflowers with the different faces or techniques to them, the different twists."
The Z.A.A.P Gallery will be open during this First Friday's Art walk from 5 until 8 o'clock. Both featured artists will be on hand to answer any questions and share their work.
