Thanks to a hefty donation, those without a meal on Thanksgiving can enjoy turkey and all the fixings at Christ's Table in Zanesville.

More than 20 turkeys were donated by the National Wild Turkey Federation's Y-City Longbeard Chapter. Executive Director Keely Warden said with the help of the donation Christ's Table has met their goal of 25 turkeys to help feed those in need.

"When you start making your grocery list for Thanksgiving, when you're going to serve 200 people you start to panic a little bit," expressed Warden. "But when you know the turkeys are under your belt and you don't have to worry about that you can worry about all the other trimmings and it's great."

In addition to the turkey, Christ's Table has received donated potatoes, stuffing and homemade pies....the only thing missing is whipped cream.

"It's that topping for Thanksgiving that makes everything just perfect, and that's what we want for our guests on Thanksgiving," said Warden.

Christ's Table will serve the Thanksgiving meal this Thursday between 10:30 and 12:30.
