Meth Lab in Lancaster

Four suspects face felony charges after an investigation following a traffic stop.

State Highway Patrol Troopers stopped a vehicle for a headlight violation in Lancaster around 1:30am Wednesday.

During the stop a trooper noticed evidence of a meth lab inside the vehicle. The vehicle's occupants 25-year-old Joshua Lanier of Rockbridge and 32-year-old Angela Ogg of Lancaster led authorities to the Casa Grande Motel where two additional suspects were located.

They are 44-year-old Tina Halter of Canal Winchester and 21-year-old Brittany Young of Lancaster.

Officers discovered a meth lab, a 9mm handgun and other drug paraphernalia inside to the motel room.

All four suspects were taken to the Fairfield County Jail and charged with illegal manufacturing of chemicals.

Lainer was also charged with OVI.

If convicted each suspect faces 8 years in prison and $15,000 fine.
